We are always grilling in the summer and we frequently have burgers, but the same old cheeseburger gets old after a while. I was searching for some new ways to make our grilled burgers when I found this one at Kraft Foods. This is a basic and easy recipe and the flavor was very good. My only complaint was that the burgers were falling apart a little when we were cooking them, so next time I may use less bread crumbs.
Mozzarella Beef Burgers
-
1 lb. ground beef
-
1/2 cup shredded low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese
-
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
-
1/4 cup barbecue sauce, divided
-
4 hamburger buns
Place patties on grill; cover grill with lid. Grill 4 to 6 min. on each side or until burgers are cooked through (160°F), brushing with remaining 2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce during last 2 min. of grilling time.
Fill buns with burgers and lettuce, if desired.
