Last week I posted a delicious pumpkin recipe, so it’s only fitting that I post an apple recipe next! I have actually been hanging on to this post since the end of apple season last fall, so I think it is about time that I share it with you!
Freshly picked, crisp apples are really good on their own, but this sweet, creamy, caramel peanut butter dip makes them even better. This dip would be great to take on a fall picnic, serve at a football party, or as a special after-school snack.
Caramel Peanut Butter Apple Dip
- 3/4 cup caramel dip or sauce
- 1/4 cup smooth or chunky peanut butter
- 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff
- 1 Tbsp chopped peanuts as garnish (optional)
Combine the caramel sauce and peanut butter until smooth.
Fold in the marshmallow fluff. Spoon dip into serving bowl and top with optional chopped peanuts.
Serve with sliced apples.
Note: If you use caramel dip (usually found in the produce section), the dip will be a bit thicker than if you use caramel sauce. Either way though, it will be delicious!
