I was so honored when Eggland’s Best contacted me about being part of their Eggland’s Best Double Dozen and hosting a Pink Party in honor of breast cancer awareness! Like many other women, and as a nurse, I have personally seen the effects of breast cancer many, many times. By participating, Eggland’s Best has made a donation in my name to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and also provided an Eggland’s Best Prize Pack for a lucky reader, but more on that in a moment!
I hosted my Pink Party this past weekend with some of my closest family and friends, and we had a wonderful afternoon eating and socializing! I wanted the menu to have a good mix of “pink” items, as well recipes made with eggs of course.

i like scrambled eggs
This is great. I walked the Houston 5k Race for the Cure on 10/1 and have raised $150 so far for the cure. My company is matching our donations.
And I like Cake – Cake has Eggs in it, and Eggs are a breakfast food, therefore, Cake is a breakfast food. =O)
I love deviled eggs with horseradish..yum yum, but I also really like scrambled with parm cheese and I love broccoli & bacon quiche..I guess I really like eggs anyway there is to make them!

I work for the fire dept in my town as an admin. All of the firemen and admin wore shirts that one of our firemen created and we each paid $5 per shirt, all of that money went to breast cancer awareness. The fire dept also helped set up the susan g komen chicago 3 day walk starting point.
Every year I walk in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. As for eggs, I love deviled eggs.
Can’t beat scrambled eggs, and eggs make wonderful cookies and cakes that I couldn’t live without!!

I use eggs a LOT for baking, but my favorite thing to make that FEATURES eggs, would have to be a good ol’ fried egg sandwich!!
I have contributed by saving yogurt lids that my daughter’s school sends off. I always look for brands that make a donation if you buy there product. My aunt just passed away on Thursday from breast cancer. The family is sending all donations to breast cancer research.
My favorite way to make eggs is to scramble up a couple then add some warm mexican chorizo and some shredded cheese and roll it all up in a hot buttered tortilla.
If I have to choose a favorite thing to do with eggs it would be to scramble them.. however, I love eggs almost any way you can fix them!!

My favorite things to make with eggs is meringue for lemon meringue or key lime pies! Yummy! I also really enjoy my grandmother’s recipe for Greek lemon chicken soup with egg white tempered in-it makes the soup creamy, thick and delicious!
I love this time of year because I get to by so many pink products and support an amzing cause. Plus everythings pink to remind us on a daily basis to never give up and keep fighting until we find a cure.
